Heifer provides educators with unique opportunities for professional growth and development. We believe that if educators are informed and energized about the world and their role in positive change, that influence is passed on to the students.
Programs for Educators
These opportunities are eligible for Continuing Education Credits and are only available for educators.
Our Study Tours for Educators are week-long visits developed for teachers to learn about Heifer's approach to sustainable development by visiting project sites and participants in Honduras. Information gained on the tour can be shared with students upon return. Learn more about Study Tours for Educators.
